Cecilia Phuong Nguyen

Cecilia Phuong Nguyen is an accomplished accounting professional with extensive experience in finance management and oversight. Currently serving as the Accounting Manager for the City of San Pablo since January 2022, Cecilia oversees accounting activities within the Finance Department, manages payroll, accounts payable and receivable, financial reporting, and audit coordination. Previously, as an Accountant for the Town of Moraga, responsibilities included general accounting duties and compliance with standards and regulations. Earlier roles include Accounting Manager and Staff Accountant at Fairn & Swanson Inc, where Cecilia managed the accounting department and prepared financial records, as well as a Staff Accountant position at Browning Ferris Industries. Cecilia holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Accounting from California State University - East Bay.
