Alexis Captanian

Alexis Captanian is a Senior Housing Analyst at the City of San Rafael since September 2021. Previously, Alexis served as a Teaching Colleague at NYU Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service, where teaching responsibilities included a virtual recitation section for a microeconomics course. Experience includes roles as Associate Research Manager at the Prevention Institute, where Alexis developed resources for local governments to combat trauma and collaborated on suicide prevention research, and as Graduate Research Assistant at NYU Furman Center, focusing on public housing strategies. Academic background consists of a Master's degree in City/Urban, Community and Regional Planning from NYU and a Bachelor's degree in Public Health from UC Berkeley, complemented by studies in Spanish Language and Literature at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.
