Don Jeppson

Don Jeppson has extensive experience in building and architectural management, currently serving as Assistant Director and Chief Building Official for the City of San Rafael since June 2018. Previously, Don held the position of Director at the Washoe County Department of Building & Safety from November 2006 to February 2017, where responsibilities included managing a $3.6 million enterprise fund, overseeing budget preparation, and enforcing building codes. Don's career also includes roles as Architect and Associate Architect at the Washoe County Department of Public Works, along with teaching experience as an Interior Design Professor at the University of Nevada, Reno. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture from the University of Idaho and an Associate Degree in Architectural Design from Truckee Meadows Community College.
