Maribeth Ann Bushey

Maribeth Ann Bushey currently serves as Legal Director, Product at AVEVA, providing strategic legal and regulatory advice to the global industrial software company. Bushey has been a City Council Member in San Rafael since December 2013, where a successful campaign led to key endorsements and an unopposed re-election in 2017. Previous experience includes roles as Product and Regulatory Legal Advisor at Intel Corporation, Associate General Counsel at Coinbase, and Director of Legal and Government Affairs at Advanced Microgrid Solutions. Bushey also spent over two decades as an Administrative Law Judge at the California Public Utilities Commission, notably presiding over hearings related to the San Bruno natural gas pipeline explosion. Educational qualifications include a Juris Doctor in Environmental Law from Lewis & Clark Law School and a Bachelor’s Degree in Biochemistry from Northern Michigan University.
