Barbara Andersen

Barbara Andersen is a highly experienced public administration professional with a robust background in strategic planning, program management, and partnership development. Currently serving as the Senior Assistant to the City Administrator for the City of Santa Barbara, Andersen oversees significant city programs related to civilian oversight, homelessness, business relations, and public engagement. As the Founder and Principal Consultant at All Points North Consulting since 2014, Andersen has worked with various nonprofit and foundation clients, providing expertise in strategic planning and grant writing. Previous positions include Vice President and COO at the Fire Services Training Institute, Director of Partnerships for the Santa Barbara Alliance for Community Transformation, and Chief Strategy Officer at the Santa Barbara Foundation. Andersen holds a Master of Public Administration from Syracuse University's Maxwell School and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Public Communication Studies from Syracuse University.
