Eric Bittle

Eric Bittle is a Supervising Engineer for the City of Santa Barbara, a position held since February 2021. Prior to this role, Bittle served as a Project Manager at Granite Construction from June 2018 to February 2021 and as an Associate Construction Manager at Filippin Engineering from June 2015 to June 2018. Bittle has extensive experience in providing construction management and inspection services on public works projects throughout the South Coast, along with a strong background in private sector civil construction services. Bittle's career began at Granite Construction in July 2001, where a dual role as Project Manager/Estimator was undertaken until June 2015, alongside positions as Project Engineer and Employee Development Leader. Bittle holds a B.S. in Ocean Engineering from the United States Naval Academy, completed in 1997.
