Jill Murray is an experienced water quality professional with a background in biological oceanography and oceanography. Currently serving as a Water Quality Research Analyst at the City of Santa Barbara since August 2004, Jill has also held the positions of Water Quality Research Coordinator and Water Resources Specialist within the same organization. Prior to this, Jill worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the National Center for Ecological Analysis and Synthesis from June 2001 to January 2004. Academic credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biological Oceanography and a Master of Science (MS) in Oceanography from the University of Washington, as well as a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Oceanography from Cal Poly Humboldt.
