Kristen Warner Sneddon serves as a Santa Barbara City Council Member since January 2018, while simultaneously holding positions as an Adjunct Environmental Geology Instructor and Lab Instructor at Santa Barbara City College since August 2015. Kristen operates as a Freelance Science Editor for Elance.com since July 2015 and is the Founder/Owner of College Keystone, a college planning firm. In addition, Kristen has engaged in geophysical consulting since September 1990, focusing on groundwater contamination mapping and expert witness testimony. Kristen has also been involved in education as an Educational Advisor and Private Educator for SAT/ACT preparation and math and science instruction. As a member of the Board of Directors at Peabody Charter School, Kristen held several leadership roles including Secretary, Vice Chair, and Chair. Previous experience includes working as a Geophysicist for the USGS and as an Adjunct Math Instructor at Red Rocks Community College. Educational accomplishments include a Master of Science in Geophysics from the Colorado School of Mines and a Bachelor of Science in Applied Geophysics from UCLA.
