Mike Jordan is currently a Council Member at the City of Santa Barbara, and has previously held positions with the Santa Barbara Downtown Organization, The Greater Santa Barbara Lodging and Restaurant Association, and Hub International.
Jordan began their career in 1987 as an Administrative Officer with the US Navy Morale, Welfare, & Recreation (MWR). Mike remained in this role for six years before moving on to Hub International.
In 2006, Jordan joined the Board of the The Greater Santa Barbara Lodging and Restaurant Association where they served on the Executive Committee for 13 years. During their time with the Association, Jordan was also a Board Member of the Santa Barbara Downtown Organization from 2010-2018, where they served on the Executive Committee.
Jordan has been with the City of Santa Barbara since 2019, where they currently serve as a Council Member.
Mike Jordan has a Master's degree in Recreation Management from California State University, Chico.
