Theresa Lancy possesses extensive experience in water management and customer service, currently serving as Project Manager II and Water Service Superintendent for the City of Santa Barbara since July 2005. Responsibilities include oversight of customer service, conservation, metering, and the implementation of an Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) system. Theresa also has a history of leadership within Safe Water International, serving as Board Chair from 2008 to April 2020, focusing on water sanitation solutions in underserved areas. Additional roles include various positions in water distribution and analysis at the City of Santa Barbara and previous experience as a Marketing Coordinator at Tracer ES&T and Laboratory Analyst at AMRO Environmental. Educational credentials include a Master’s degree in Environmental Science & Management from UC Santa Barbara and a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry and Marine Science from the University of Miami.
