Rebecca Unitt

Rebecca Unitt is a seasoned economic development professional with a strong background in facilitating connections between the business community and governmental resources. Currently serving as Economic Development Manager at the City of Santa Cruz Economic Development Department since October 2014, Rebecca has successfully held various roles including Business Liaison and Economic Development Coordinator, focusing on business development, site selection, and permitting assistance. Prior experience includes a position as Project Assistant in the City Manager's Office of Riverside, where Rebecca supported businesses through the development process, and as a Policy Intern at the National Low Income Housing Coalition, conducting legislative research on affordable housing. Educational qualifications include a Master of Public Administration from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor's Degree in Urban and Regional Planning from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona.
