Jimmie Montoya

Jimmie Montoya currently serves as the Owner of M3 Investigations LLC since August 2024, specializing in surveillance, internal investigations, employee matters, harassment, and background investigations. Montoya has an extensive law enforcement career with the Santa Fe Police Department, beginning in 2007 as a Police Officer, and advancing through the ranks to Detective, Detective Sergeant, and Police Lieutenant, with a focus on the Violent Crimes Unit and Internal Affairs. Additionally, Montoya held the position of Deputy Sheriff at the Santa Fe County Sheriff's Department from 2005 to 2007 and is also a Lieutenant for the City of Santa Fe since September 2021. Montoya’s education includes studies at New Mexico State University and Santa Fe Community College.
