Karen Reitz is an experienced library professional with a strong background in management and reference services. Currently serving as Library Manager for the City of Santa Monica since July 2010, Karen has previously held the position of Senior Librarian for the City of Redondo Beach from July 2005 to July 2010 and worked as a Reference & Government Documents Librarian for the City of Inglewood from June 2003 to June 2005. Karen holds a Master's degree in Library and Information Science from the University of Hawaii at Manoa and has pursued education at the University of California, Berkeley.
