Shellie Goings is a seasoned human resources professional with extensive experience in labor relations, recruitment, and employee performance management. Currently serving as a Senior Human Resources Analyst for the City of Santa Monica since August 2022, Shellie negotiates labor agreements, assists with disciplinary matters, and ensures compliance with various leave programs. Previous roles include Personnel Analyst at the City of Long Beach, where responsibilities encompassed recruitment processes, personnel policy development, and job analysis, as well as a Human Resources Analyst at Mindful Growth Foundation, focusing on full-cycle recruitment. Shellie's earlier positions as a Human Resources Administrator at Bloomingdale's and a Benefit System Analyst at Paychex round out a diverse HR background. Shellie holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Houston and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix.
