Sunny Wang

Sunny Wang currently serves as the Water Resources Manager and Principal Water Resources Engineer for the City of Santa Monica since October 2018, while also holding the position of Chairperson of the Board at the Santa Monica Basin Groundwater Sustainability Agency since December 2021. In addition to these roles, Sunny Wang has been an Adjunct Professor at the University of Southern California since August 2016. Previous experience includes serving as the Water Technology Leader for Southern California at Brown and Caldwell from August 2015 to September 2018, as well as progressing through various engineering roles at Black & Veatch from June 2004 to July 2015, and starting a career as an Environmental Engineer at Parsons from June 2001 to December 2002. Sunny Wang holds both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Chemical and Environmental Engineering and Environmental Engineering, respectively, from the University of California, Riverside.
