Rida Freeman

Rida Freeman has diverse work experience in various roles within the public sector. Rida is currently serving as the Human Resources Director at the City of Santee. Prior to this, they held positions at the City of La Mesa, CA, where they worked as the Director of Administrative Services at La Mesa City Hall from February 2020 to June 2023 and as the Human Resources/Risk Manager from January 2014 to February 2020. Before their time at La Mesa, they worked at the City of El Cajon as a Senior Human Resources Analyst from September 2011 to January 2014. Rida also had previous experience as a Human Resources Analyst at the City of Santee from November 1999 to September 2011. Rida started their career as an Administrative Secretary in the City Manager's/City Clerk's Office at the City of Imperial Beach from January 1995 to August 1997. Prior to this, they served as an Assistant to the Executive Director at San Diego State University from August 1997 to November 1999.

Rida Freeman obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Public Administration from San Diego State University, where they studied from 1995 to 1997. Rida further pursued their education at the same institution and completed a Master's Degree in Public Administration from 1999 to 2002.
