Tyson McShane is an experienced professional in urban and regional planning, currently serving as the Manager of Long Range Planning for the City of Saskatoon since October 2019. In this role, Tyson leads a team responsible for various long-range planning initiatives, including the management of Saskatoon's Official Community Plan and regional planning. Previous positions include Acting Manager of Long Range Planning, Senior Planner II, and Senior Planner within the City of Saskatoon, along with a significant history as an Independent Musician, where Tyson engages in songwriting, arranging, and tour management. Additional experience includes serving as Co-Artistic Director for MoSoFest and contributing to neighbourhood design and development efforts. Tyson holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree in Regional and Urban Development from the University of Saskatchewan.
