Chelsea Pomales is a seasoned public communication specialist currently serving as a Senior Public Communication Specialist for the City of Savannah since October 2024. With a strong background in journalism, Chelsea worked as a photojournalist at Carolinas' Own Queen City News from September 2022 to September 2024 and held multiple roles, including Photographer/Editor at WCNC Charlotte, Photographer at KRQE News, and Photojournalist at WMBF. Additionally, experience as a News Content Specialist at WLOX-TV involved editing and producing news shows. Chelsea began the professional journey as an intern at Virginia State University, where responsibilities included scriptwriting and multi-camera operation for live broadcasts. Chelsea earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communication/Media Studies from Virginia State University in 2015.
