Faye Dimassimo

Faye DiMassimo, FAICP, is an experienced professional currently serving as the Chief of Planning and Economic Development for the City of Savannah since June 2024. Prior to this role, Faye held the position of Chief Executive Officer at Chatham Area Transit Authority from February 2022 to June 2024 and was Interim Director at the Nashville Department of Transportation and Multimodal Infrastructure for a brief period in 2021. Faye also served as Senior Advisor to the Mayor at the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County from 2019 to 2022 and worked as a Specialist Leader at Deloitte Consulting. Earlier career roles include General Manager for Renew Atlanta/TSPLOST in the City of Atlanta and Director of the Department of Transportation in Cobb County. Faye's educational background includes a Master of Public Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Public Administration, as well as a Master of Community Planning, all from Auburn University.
