Gary McCarthy

Gary R. McCarthy has extensive experience in public service and law enforcement, currently serving as the Mayor of the City of Schenectady since January 2005, and previously holding the position of City Council President. In addition, Gary R. McCarthy has worked with the Schenectady County District Attorney's Office as the Chief Investigator since 1981. Educational background includes studies at the University at Albany and graduation from Linton High School.
