Desirae Phrasavath

Desirae Phrasavath is an accomplished Economic Development Specialist with the City of Scottsdale since April 2019, where research on best practices for department program enhancement is conducted. Prior experience includes roles as a Planner and Associate Planner, focusing on various projects in commercial, residential, and mixed-use developments, including environmentally sensitive land preservation. Desirae’s previous positions include Assistant City Planner in Spearfish, Planning Intern at Hudson River Valley Greenway and City of Cohoes, and Economic and Business Development Intern at Downtown Albany Business Improvement District. Academic qualifications comprise a Master’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning from the University at Albany and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Economics from the State University of New York College at Potsdam.
