Mary Tuttle

Mary Tuttle, CPRP, currently serves as the Parks and Recreation Director for the City of SeaTac, a position held since June 2023. Prior experience includes over 17 years at Metro Parks Tacoma, where Mary managed various mission-led programs as the District Wide Programs Manager, overseeing initiatives in Youth & Adult Sports, Fitness/Wellness, Arts, and more, serving over 600,000 participants annually. Additional roles at Metro Parks Tacoma included Interim District Wide Programs Manager, Visual & Performing Arts Supervisor, and Dance Programs Coordinator, where Mary successfully developed a youth dance program and collaborated with many community events and agencies. Earlier experiences include positions as an Adjunct Instructor in Ballet at Tacoma School of the Arts and as a Dance Instructor at YMCA, along with a role as Dance Integration Specialist in Tacoma Public Schools, focusing on K-5 education and performance coordination.
