Jason Malinowski

Jason Malinowski has a diverse work experience in the financial industry. Jason started their career as an Analyst at BlackRock in 2003 and then joined Quellos Group, LLC as an Associate Director, Head of Quantitative Research in 2005. Jason returned to BlackRock in 2007 as a Managing Director, Head of Risk and Quantitative Analysis for Alternative Investments, where they stayed until 2014. In the same year, they joined the City of Seattle as their Chief Investment Officer, a role they currently hold.

Jason Malinowski received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics and Economics from New York University in 2003. In 2008, they obtained a Chartered Financial Analyst certification from the CFA Institute. Jason later pursued a Master of Arts degree in Policy Studies from the University of Washington Bothell, which they completed in 2013.
