Mark H.

Mark H. currently serves as a Senior Investigator for the City of Seattle since December 2020. Prior to this role, Mark was self-employed as a stay-at-home parent while supporting a partner through a family medicine residency from June 2017 to December 2020. Mark has extensive experience in labor relations, having worked as a Labor Relations Negotiator at the University of Washington and as an Employee & Labor Relations Manager at Virginia Garcia. Additional legal experience includes serving as a Staff Attorney at the Northwest Workers' Justice Project, Davis Law Offices, and the Metropolitan Public Defender, as well as a Senior Investigator in the Civil Rights Division of the Oregon Bureau of Labor and Industries. Mark began a career in law as a Staff Investigator at the Public Defender Service for the District of Columbia and holds a Juris Doctorate from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Political Science from Boston College.
