Andy Hutson

Andy Hutson has extensive experience in information technology and public service, currently serving as the IT Director for the City of Shakopee, MN since August 2015. Prior to this role, Andy held the position of Lieutenant with the City of Shakopee Fire Department from May 2010 to August 2020. Andy's background also includes significant IT management experience at General Mills from December 2001 to August 2015 and Starkey Labs from January 1990 to December 2001. Additionally, Andy served as a firefighter with the City of Golden Valley Fire Department from August 2003 to December 2013. Andy earned a Bachelor of Applied Science in Business Administration, Management and Operations from St. Cloud State University between 1992 and 1996.
