John Sullivan

John Sullivan is an experienced economic development professional with a career spanning over three decades. Currently serving as the Economic Development Coordinator for the City of Shakopee, MN since September 2022, Sullivan has previously held key positions including Community Development Planner for the City of Virginia, Minnesota, and Real Estate Development Manager at Accessible Space, Inc. From 2005 to 2015, Sullivan was the Economic Development Director at Carver County CDA, following a similar role with the City of Prior Lake and the City of Cambridge. Early career experience includes roles as a Planner at Westwood Professional Services and as the Economic Development Director at the East Central Regional Development Commission.
