Doug Donahoo

Doug Donahoo's work experience includes serving as Communications Director for the City of Shawnee, KS from 2023 to the present. Prior to this, they worked at The Salvation Army Kansas & Western Missouri from 2018 to 2023 as the Director of Public Relations and Integrated Communications, where they successfully rebuilt the internal public relations effort and developed new marketing and public relations protocols. From 2016 to 2017, Doug was the Creative Services Director at KCTV / KSMO / Meredith Corporation. Doug also worked as the KXAN Brand Manager at KXAN-TV from 2015 to 2016, and as the Multi-Media Production Supervisor at KOAT-TV from 2010 to 2015. Doug's earlier experience includes roles as Promotion Producer at KCTV / KSMO / Meredith Corporation from 2005 to 2010, Producer/Photographer/Reporter at 6News Lawrence from 2001 to 2005, and Promotion/Marketing Intern at WKYC-TV in 1999.

Doug Donahoo earned their Bachelor's of Science degree in Journalism from The University of Kansas, where they attended from 1999 to 2003.
