Jay Brunner

Jay Brunner is an accomplished law enforcement professional with extensive experience in the City of Shawnee, Kansas, where roles have included Patrol Division Commander since April 2020 and various leadership positions from March 2006 to February 2019, such as Support Services Division Commander and Investigation Bureau Commander. Brunner co-founded Yakballet, creators of iWitness ID, from 2012 to 2014, and served as a Financial Advisor at Morgan Stanley in 2007-2008. Brunner's early career included military service as a Public Administration Team Sergeant in the US Army from 1997 to 2005. Academic qualifications include a Master's degree in Organizational Leadership from MidAmerica Nazarene University and a Bachelor of Arts in Crime and Delinquency Studies from The University of Kansas.
