Susan Orwick

Susan Orwick is an accomplished recreation and sports professional with extensive experience in program management and event planning. Currently serving as a retired professional at the City of Shawnee, KS since October 2018, Susan has contributed as a part-time masters swim coach and youth swim coach, in addition to participating in fundraising and tournament activities as a Dixon Golf representative. Prior roles include Recreation Supervisor for the City of Gladstone, MO (2013-2018), where oversight of various recreational programs and events was maintained, and Recreation Supervisor for the City of Lenexa (1993-2013), involving significant event planning responsibilities. Earlier career experience includes senior program management at the YMCA of Hendersonville, NC, and coaching roles at Henderson County Public Schools and Enid YMCA. Susan holds a degree in Recreation Administration and Therapeutics with a minor in psychology from Kansas State University.
