Joel Kolste is an accomplished public works professional with extensive experience in street and sanitation management. Currently serving as Superintendent of Streets and Sanitation for the City of Sheboygan since September 2022, Joel previously held the position of Assistant Director of Public Works for the Village of Shorewood from July 2015 to September 2022, overseeing daily operations across multiple divisions. Joel has also demonstrated leadership as Superintendent of Streets and Sanitation for the City of Sheboygan from April 2012 to July 2015, and has experience as a construction foreman with LaLonde Contractors, a construction manager with Bonestroo, and a field technician with SM&P Utility Resources. Joel earned an Associate's degree in Natural Resources/Conservation from Fox Valley Technical College in 1992.
