David Bodway III has a strong background in finance and accounting. David began their career at Pauly, Rogers and Co as an Audit Team Manager and later became an Audit Manager. In 2012, they joined Clackamas County as a Senior Accountant and was promoted to Controller in 2013. Currently, they are serving as the Director of Finance for the City of Sherwood.
David Bodway III completed their education with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Linfield University, which they attended from 1996 to 2000. David then pursued further studies at Portland State University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from 2002 to 2004. In 2019, David completed their Executive Masters in Public Administration from Portland State University.
