Jon Bronenkant

Jon Bronenkant is a seasoned professional in landscape architecture and urban planning, currently serving as a Senior Public Space Planner for the City of Somerville since March 2023. Previously, Jon held positions as a Public Space Planner and a Landscape Architect II at CDM Smith from April 2020 to March 2023, and worked as a Landscape Designer at Greylock Design Associates from May 2018 to April 2020, providing comprehensive landscape architecture and site planning services. Jon's academic background includes a degree in Landscape Architecture & Regional Planning from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, obtained in 2018. Additionally, Jon has experience as a Research Assistant focused on pedestrian safety perceptions and has contributed to community efforts through volunteer work in graphics and at Habitat for Humanity's ReStore. Early career experience includes a sales internship at Microworks Computer Center.
