Kimberly Wells

Kimberly Wells serves as City Clerk for the City of Somerville since January 2019, previously holding the role of Assistant Clerk of Committees. Prior experience includes various positions at the Edward J. Collins, Jr. Center for Public Management from October 2012 to June 2022, where Kimberly functioned as an Associate, Public Services Manager, and Government Services Specialist, contributing as a Performance Management Analyst for the Municipal Performance Management Program. Kimberly's earlier career includes roles at J.Crew as a Wedding Specialist and Operations Manager from August 2006 to January 2015, a Claims Analyst at Plymouth Rock Assurance from June 2006 to September 2013, and a short-term Holiday Campaign Associate at Project Bread in late 2012, along with an internship in Government Affairs at Charles Group Consulting. Kimberly is pursuing a Doctor of Education in Workplace Learning from Northeastern University, following a Master of Public Administration from Suffolk University and other degrees and certificates in related fields from Suffolk University, Boston University, UMass Boston, and Saint Michael's College.
