Naima Sait

Naima Sait currently serves as the Somerville Ward 5 City Councilor for the City of Somerville, a position held since January 2024. Prior to this role, Naima Sait was a French Teacher at Somerville High School from August 2015 to July 2023, where presentations and written communications were developed for a diverse audience. Additional teaching experience includes roles at Brookline High School and the Boston Language Institute, where French and Arabic were taught across various levels. Naima Sait also worked as a translator for Milton Public Schools and participated as a delegate at the Massachusetts Democratic Convention. Educational qualifications include a Master's Degree in Linguistics and Pedagogy from Middlebury College and two Bachelor's Degrees from Université Mouloud Mammeri Tizi-Ouzou in Translation and Interpretation as well as French Language and Literature.
