Jitin Kain

Jitin Kain, AICP, has over two decades of experience in urban planning and public works, currently serving as the Deputy Director of Public Works for the City of South Bend since July 2011. Prior roles include Director of Planning and Senior Economic Development Specialist within the same city. Jitin Kain also held the position of Assistant Director at Downtown South Bend, Inc. from April 2007 to June 2011 and worked as a Planner for the City of South Bend prior to that. Academic qualifications include a Master of Urban & Regional Planning from Ball State University and a Bachelor of Architecture & Planning from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee.
