Ryan Malhoski

Ryan Malhoski, GISP, serves as the GIS Manager for the City of South Lake Tahoe, California, since October 2019, where responsibilities include expanding the GIS program beyond Public Works to support various city departments. Prior to this role, Ryan worked as a GIS Analyst/Developer for the City of Sacramento from September 2016 to October 2019, managing an enterprise GIS network and collaborating with department managers to enhance GIS solutions. Earlier experience includes a position as a Geographer/GIS Analyst with the US Army Corps of Engineers from April 2010 to August 2016, where Ryan led technical efforts across multiple product development teams and managed GIS contracts. Ryan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Geography with a focus on Cartography and Geographic Information Systems from California State University-Sacramento.
