Sara Letton is a Sustainability Coordinator for the City of South Lake Tahoe since February 2022, focusing on climate resilience in agriculture through conservation practices. Previously, Sara served as a Program Manager and Project Coordinator at the California Association of Resource Conservation Districts, contributing to statewide initiatives for climate resiliency and agricultural best practices. Sara has also held roles as an Independent Contractor, Project Coordinator for the Western Shasta Resource Conservation District, and a Science Teacher at Sequoia Middle School. Additional experience includes positions as a Nutrition Educator and Instructor, as well as serving as a Forester with the Peace Corps in Benin. Sara holds a Professional Science Master's in Environmental Science from Oregon State University and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Biology and Management from the University of California, Davis, among other educational credentials.
