Neil Slagle has over 40 years of work experience, including roles as a Director of Information Systems for the City of Springfield, Missouri, a Senior Consultant in their own self-employed business, an IT Director for the State of Michigan's Dept. of Technology Management & Budget, and a State Administrative Manager of IT for the State of Michigan's Dept. of Information Technology. Neil also served as a Non-Commissioned Officer in the United States Marines Corp, where they worked as a Senior Repair Technician and Instructor in digital computer systems.

Neil Slagle completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Physics at Michigan State University from 1991 to 1993. Neil then pursued an M.B.A. with Honors specializing in Business at the University of Michigan from 1998 to 2001.
