Birgit Shaw has over two decades of experience in the field of information technology, currently serving as a Business Systems Analyst at the City of Spruce Grove since April 2013. Prior to this role, Birgit held various positions at IBM Canada Ltd. as an IT Specialist and at IBM Deutschland GmbH as an IT Architect. Birgit began a career at American Management Systems as a Test Analyst, followed by roles at Deutsche Bank AG and Westdeutsche Landesbank Girozentrale as a System Analyst. Birgit's educational background includes a degree as a Mathematical-technical Assistant in Information Technology from Mannesmann Demag AG and a University-entrance diploma (Abitur) in Math and Chemistry from Theodor-Heuss Gymnasium.
