Maggie Deslauriers

Maggie DesLauriers' work experience begins in 2002 with the Government of Alberta, where they held various roles such as Business Integration Coordinator, Manager of Business Integration, and Manager of Planning and Accountability. From 2009 to 2013, Maggie served as the Director of Corporate Planning and Reporting. Maggie then transitioned to roles in Advanced Education, including Director of Results Based Review. From 2013 to 2015, they served as the Executive Director of International Policy and Strategic Services.

In 2015, Maggie joined the Government of Alberta as the Executive Director of Alberta Student Aid, where they provided strategic leadership and direction for student funding programs. Maggie held this position until 2020. From 2020 to 2021, they served as the Executive Director of Strategic Policy for Children's Services, where they provided leadership and strategic advice in policy development.

From 2021 to 2022, Maggie held the position of Executive Director of Intergovernmental and Trade Relations, where they led a team in managing initiatives related to agriculture and food manufacturing. From 2022 to 2023, they were the Executive Director of International, Research and Innovation, where they played a vital role in implementing international education strategies and talent development initiatives.

Currently, Maggie is the Director of Strategy and Policy Development at the City of Spruce Grove, a position they have held since 2023.

Maggie DesLauriers attended the Alberta School of Business, University of Alberta, where they completed the Senior and Executive Management Development Program. Maggie also studied Business at the University of Alberta, although the specific degree name is not provided.
