Diane Taylor

Diane Taylor is an experienced community recreation professional currently serving as the Community Recreation Coordinator for the City of St. Albert since January 2025. Prior roles include the Outdoor & Community Programming Specialist, Community Partner Liaison, and Outdoor Recreation Community Coordinator at Strathcona County from April 2022 to January 2025. Diane also worked as a Program & Event Coordinator for Explore Edmonton Corporation and held several positions at Northlands, including Event Development Coordinator. Earlier in the career, Diane contributed to the Edmonton Economic Development Corporation as part of the Street Team, and gained sales leadership experience at ivivva. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in Recreation, Sport, and Tourism from the University of Alberta and a Diploma in Business Administration with a focus on Marketing from NAIT. Diane's background also encompasses teaching and choreographing dance at the Sandra Gray School of Dancing and undertaking a sports events internship at the University of Alberta.
