Kristina Peter possesses extensive experience in urban planning and policy development, currently serving as the Manager of the Planning Branch for the City of St. Albert since August 2016. In this role, Kristina leads a diverse planning team and acts as the liaison between various stakeholders to ensure responsive policy and regulatory changes. Prior to this, Kristina was the Senior Long Range Planner for Sturgeon County, where strategic input was provided to both the County Administration and Council, focusing on fiscal sustainability and community development. Kristina's earlier roles include planning consultant positions at Urban Systems Ltd. and as a GIS Transportation Specialist for Montgomery County. Kristina holds a Master's Degree in Civic Design from the University of Liverpool and a Bachelor's Degree in Land Use and Environmental Studies from the University of Saskatchewan.
