Alanna Wicks, MA, has extensive experience in access, privacy, and archival management with a career spanning over a decade. Currently serving as an Access and Privacy Analyst and Archives Technician with the City of St. John's since November 2012, Alanna is responsible for the administration, cataloging, and digitization of archival materials, as well as assisting visitors and city departments with research. Previous roles include Project Coordinator for the Honour 100 Project with the Association of Newfoundland and Labrador Archives, Youth Heritage Forum Coordinator with the Heritage Foundation of Newfoundland and Labrador, and various positions as an Archives Assistant and Cultural Product Development Officer. Alanna holds a Master of Arts in Public Co-operative Folklore and a Bachelor of Arts in Cultural Anthropology/Folklore from Memorial University of Newfoundland.
