Ken O'Brien

Chief Municipal Planner at City of St. John's

Ken O'Brien has extensive experience in the field of planning, with a career spanning over 30 years. Ken began their career at Baird Planning Associates, where they worked on various projects including the Rails-to-Trails Study and municipal plans for Paradise, Labrador City, and Wabush. Ken also contributed to an environmental report for the Ptarmigan Trail. Following this, Ken worked as a Planner II at the Newfoundland and Labrador Dept. of Municipal Affairs, where they prepared plans for several communities and provided planning advice to municipal councils and staff.
