John Helberg

John Helberg has extensive experience in the financial and public service sectors, serving as Chief Underwriter for Individual Markets at Securian Financial since November 1996, where roles have included Senior Underwriter and Manager of Individual Underwriting. In addition to this role, John has been a Reserve Police Officer in the St. Louis Park Police Department since January 2003, currently holding the rank of Reserve Lieutenant. Prior to Securian, John worked as an Underwriter at Prudential Financial and held positions in political campaigns, including Campaign Regional Manager for Congressman Jim R Lightfoot. John earned a degree in Political Science and Business Management from Luther College in 1993.
