Jamala Lott

Jamala Lott M.A. is an experienced finance professional currently serving as the Fiscal Operation Support Manager for Internal Audit with the City of St. Louis since December 2007. In this role, Jamala oversees the management of over $2 billion in Ordinance funds and $100 million in annual Capital Improvement Program distributions, while also preparing financials for the annual KPMG audit and ensuring compliance for various grants and payroll functions. In addition to a successful career in public service, Jamala operates Milele Enterprises, providing full-service managerial accounting and HR support to small businesses and nonprofits, and is the founder of Milele Evolving, a nonprofit focused on wellness access in underserved communities. Jamala is also an accomplished author, with works that explore holistic living and parenting insights. Academic qualifications include a Master's degree in Management and Leadership from Webster University and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Harris-Stowe State University.
