John Gryder is an experienced IT professional with a diverse background in database management, security engineering, and systems administration. Currently serving as a Database Administrator and previously as a Senior System Programmer at the City of St. Petersburg since February 2021, John has also held notable positions such as Security Engineer at EVO Payments, Inc., Production Support Analyst at Sterling Payment Technologies, and Systems Engineer at Elavon, Inc., where responsibilities included providing 24/7 on-call support for transaction processing systems. Prior experience includes roles at Brunswick Boat Group, managing systems and network administration, and serving as a Combat Engineer in the United States Marine Forces Reserve. Education includes completion of studies at Central High School from 1982 to 1985.
