David Gonczar has extensive experience in the fire department. David started their career in 2001 as a Lieutenant at the Sterling Heights Fire Dept. David then worked as a Captain at the Sterli Heights Fire Department from 2008 to 2012. Since 2012, David has served as a Fire Department Battalion Chief at the City of Sterling Heights, managing a shift of 30 firefighters at 5 stations.
David Gonczar attended Lanse Creuse High School from 1966 to 1973. After completing high school, they enrolled at Macomb Community College from 1974 to 1976, where they earned an Associate Degree in Business Administration and Management, General.
