City of Summit
Nicole Kotiga, RMC, currently serves as the Deputy City Clerk for the City of Summit since August 2018, where responsibilities include administrative support for the Clerk, managing permits and licensing, Election Day duties, processing OPRA requests, executing contracts, and supervising staff. Prior to this role, Nicole worked with the Borough of New Providence from January 2006 to July 2018 in various administrative capacities, providing support to the Borough Clerk and others, handling permits, and assisting the Court Administrator. Nicole has a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Kean University and an Associate of Arts in Criminal Justice from UCNJ Union College of Union County. Additional experience includes working as a Camp Counselor, an intern with the New Providence Police Department, and as a Community Activities Assistant in the Recreation Department.
