Ted Tornow currently serves as the Sponsorship/Marketing Manager for Surprise Stadium with the City of Surprise since January 2024. Previously, Ted held various leadership roles in professional baseball organizations, including General Manager for the Clinton LumberKings Baseball Club from October 1998 to January 2024, where responsibilities encompassed coordinating all operational facets and overseeing a 30-member board of directors. Prior experiences include serving as Vice President/General Manager for the Butte Copper Kings Baseball Club, where recognition as Pioneer League Executive of the Year was achieved in 1996, and as Assistant General Manager for the Jackson Generals Baseball Club, focusing on concessions operation and telemarketing. Ted's early career featured roles such as Director of Operations for the Huntsville Stars Baseball Club and various positions in media operations and game coordination for multiple exhibition games in Memphis. Ted graduated Cum Laude from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education, management, business administration, and coaching.
